OPEN RP TO ANY MAIN CHAMPION. SET A BIT IN THE PAST.
Starlie is a young alien on her own on the road, having left her adopted family and home to try to sort out her newly blooming super powers for the first time. Though aliens are not unheard of, they are still quite uncommon, and Star is having a hard time finding a place where she feels like she can belong. After a year of wandering without success, she has made her way to a prominent city - Verity.
((Additional information: Star is about 17 years old at this point. She has just recently decided she feel more comfortable presenting as a girl (something her family tribe was supportive of), but is more androgynous in appearance at this point and will still be mistaken once in a while for a boy.))
"Sorry for startling you!!! But taking things that don't belong to you is wrong!!! And- ah!" the young alien stopped her small lecture when the portal she forgot about behind her sparked loudly and fizzled out. The couple men who she caught stealing a young lady's purse were already scrambling away in fear, screaming about a pink space lunatic. "Oh, sorry again!! Stay out of trouble now, okay?!" Star called after the retreating figures, until she was left in the quiet city alley, alone.
Rubbing her hands together, the alien turned to the leftover portals from the scuffle to wave them away. Star still didn't fully understand how it all worked, how she really made the portals appear where she wanted them and also how to get them to stop malfunctioning, but at least she managed to snag the stolen item back today. She barely even knew what species she was, supposedly a Jurralk? It was a still... a little frustrating. But, she wasn't going to let it get her down!
After finally cleaning up her mess as best she could, she was left with the rescued purse. Not really knowing how to find the owner (she had also run off a long time ago), Star left the purse in the spot she last saw the lady with a little note reading Do not touch if this does not belong to you, Please! The young girl then took a deep breath - hugging her arms to herself softly - and moved on, wondering where it was she was going to sleep that night.
