((Just a proposal, but since Nat is a demon hunter I think it would be funny to watch her and Koka meet. It would also be very interesting to see how the other champions react to their arguments and fights!))

Nat dug around her pockets, searching. Keys, gum, chapstick, her fingers brushed over the thin, dry paper she had been looking for, the writing on it all neat and orderly. Lifting the few bags she was carrying up on her forearm, she scanned through it, mentally checking off everything except.... holy water. She sighed. They had put off getting it for a while because there was nothing to hunt, as if they had all gone quiet. There was no possible way for them to be extinct but it seems they had just vanished and it got on Nat's nerves. She trained, feeling weary, it seemed like nothing could calm her down but finding another demon, even though her goal was to rid them all.
She pushed the conflicting thoughts aside and turned around, heading off to the nearest store where she could buy regular water in larger tanks.

A little purple demon flitted around in the shadows of the rooftops. He liked being on higher ground, since most of the time he was cooped up in the stuffy underworld. But the aboveground had such nice air, even if it got a little too cold for his liking sometimes.
At this time most shops had already closed, so most of the crowds that gathered here had left. The demon Köka noticed a peculiar human walking down this street. He knew the area to be a shopping district, but this aboveground goer was not like the rest he normally saw (and liked to tease all the time). She had a tall stride about her, walking with a purpose. Köka tiptoed along the roofs carefully, following her - relying on the growing night and his dark skin to keep him concealed.
Examining the human of interest closer, he could see an array of weapons and artifacts around her body. These items struck a chord in the demonic kid's mind. Lessons from his father of humans to watch out for. No doubt about it, this one was a... demon hunter.
"Uh-oh..." Köka breathed out when he came to the realization, stumbling back a bit and making a tiny clatter on the shingles he was standing on.
((Wow sorry haha long starting response. For this RP's plot ideas: Since Köka is still young, hes small and agile, but he probably couldnt take a demon hunter on in a fight. but perhaps her curiosity about where the demons have all been would slow her down long enough to not kill him right away??))

(( PFFF LONGS ARE GOOGDS. But yes I figure something that would stop her from actually killing is that Köka is still a child as well plus the missing demons yea they'd live BTW I HAVE NO CLUE if the demon species were talking about here has the usual weaknesses, like the holy water or latin words, the usual crap, I know regular water burns him a bit from the other rp but thats it ))
Broken out of her thoughts, startled she dropped a bag. Shit, she's gonna kill me for bruising that pear. She turned around and looked up to curse the pidgeon that had startled her when she froze. There was nothing there but Nat knew better than to trust the shadows. Spotting an electrical box by the building, she left her groceries on the ground and pulled herself up. Cautiously, in a defensive stance, she approached deeper into the dark.
Even though she was in causal wear she flicked out a knife from her sleeve. Shadows never leave and so neither did she. Her fingers were ready to reach to her phone and just hit speed dial for her partner. More because she may have found a hunt than for back up. Squinting into the dark, searching for signs, she felt a wave of calm go over her. She found it, usually people reserve this kind of grace for angels. Those eyes, reflecting light in the dark. She had found them.

Backing up as quietly as he could, Köka held his breath and flattened himself into a corner on the roof as best he could. His eyes remained wide in anticipation as he watched the human woman climb up to his hiding spot, inching closer and looking him straight on.
At first it seemed she could not see him... but then her demeanour changed. And Köka was scared.
((holy water would for sure work, or at least be 100x more painful than regular water. im not an expert on other demonic exorcism techniques out there though so?? haah whatever can be worked in.))

((KK I unno much just the really basic stuff anyway I figured all would be well as we go along))
A corner. It was hiding, trying to blend in. A corner. If she had salt and perhaps a distraction she could trap it there but alas she left it all with the rest of the groceries. Nat would have to make do with what was on her. She had to admit it was rare to take a demon on by herself. She knew the consequences and dangers but there was no way she could run away, not after so long.
It was so dark but bringing out a flashlight and startling it wouldn't be good either, her mind raced with possibilities until it came to the best one. Withdrawing quickly an smaller iron blade from her boot before standing up completely, Nat threw it into the darkness. She threw it towards where she thought the demons form laid, but it was only a guess. She prayed and listened to the next noise she would hear before she reacted, holding the original knife in front of her.

"EEP!" The little demon squeaked as the blade came at him fast, making use of his exceptional jumping abilities to leap up out of the way before it could hit. He landed up on the neighbouring roof, unsteady and startled, trying to remember his demon defence training. Well, okay, offence training. Demonkind tended to be a sort of kill-first-ask-questions-later kind of species. Köka wasn't really fond of the killing idea, not to mention the fact he probably wouldn't stand a chance in the first place.
"Hey!! What are you trying to do?!" Maybe he got it wrong. Maybe this human was just like others in the little group he had been playing around with lately. Maybe this is just her way of starting a fun game?? As daft as Köka was however, even he highly doubted that one.

They were so tiny. The demon was so small compared to the others she had killed. They clearly didn't seem violent or malicious and she wondered if it was a ploy to lower her guard.
"What am I trying to...?" Confusion formed on her face. Last time Nat checked they definitely weren't in a peace treaty with Hell spawn. Were they being.. genuine? Was it even possible for one of these things to spout anything but lies? And yet this one seemed to be honestly distressed. "To kill you...?" She was torn in hearing this demon out or just killing them off. On one hand she could get answers on the other the tricks they played on the mind could quickly turn disastrous. She kept her guard off but eased her stance, her mind fighting over what choice she should make.

At her response, Köka's eyes lowered, turning serious. "Yeah, didn't think you would wanna play..." he said in barely more than a mumble.
He steadied his stance into more of a fighting one, weighing his odds. It was weird for him though, because the purple demon never wanted to make a warrior of himself. He remember from his lessons that these guys generally travelled in packs of two, at least. And he didn't want to make a break for it in just any direction if she had an unseen partner ready and waiting in the area, though he would if he had to.
Also, he noticed she had much of her skin covered, mostly just her face revealed. Had Köka been a more experienced demon like his father, this wouldn't be much of an issue. As it was, if he wanted to use illusions to get out of this, he would have to time it well.
The only thing he could maybe count himself lucky for was that she almost seemed as uncertain as he was.

Nat relaxed her body, she was going on a huge risk to be extra cautious here. Sliding her hand into her jeans pocket casually, she took a few steps forward.
"Hey, lets make a deal. Its what you demons do right?" She was nervous about doing this, talking a demon into a deal, they weren't the most trustfull creatures. She hit the speed dial on her phone, hoping the demon wouldn't notice. "I'll let you go if you agree. No arguments, no tricks." She pretended to have the upper hand, although she really wasn't sure.

The demon tensed and backed up a bit as she stepped forward. She had relaxed her posture, which did relieve the innocent hell child a little bit.
Nonetheless, he took notice of her hand sliding into her pants pocket and watched it, ready for when the hunter tossed any other knives his way. However, she never took her hand out and nothing was sent his way.
When she spoke again, Köka nervously moved his gaze back to her face. "... A deal? ... What kind of deal?" He replied slowly. Deals were certainly something demons were good at making, as well as something that was taken very seriously. It was a major crime to break a deal or back out of one, though cheating and finding any loopholes possible was certainly a valid option.

"It's a basic one. I just need some answers. You are after all one of the few demons, I've seen in quite some time." Nat stressed out her words to make sure that her partner knew what the situation was. Now she had to stall for time in order for her to get here. "Just answer some questions, it couldn't be easier, right? And I'll-" She hesitated. As much as she hated to promise such, "I'll let you go. You'll be free and I won't hunt you."
But someone else will. Nat knew this was serious, even though she had laid down the rules, making a contract with a demon was right up there on the list of things that could go incredibly wrong. However, looking at the small creature, practically shaking in her presence, she couldn't help but wonder just how young it was. It had to be a trick to let her guard down, there's no way that it was truly this scared?

The hellchild shuffled from his place on the other roof, his mind considering the options. "Only a few questions right? And you'll let me go?" It seemed simple and genuine enough. Plus it didn't seem like this hunter was fully equipped for a true fight anyway. Though she had some weapons on her, the outfit was too casual. But regardless, Köka knew better than to underestimate that. A deal and promise not to get hurt indeed sounded more tempting than taking his chance to just run away on his own. Plus - this was the first hunter the little demon had ever met, and he was just as curious about her as she seemed to be in him.
Plus, she didn't specify that he needed to answer ALL the questions she asked. If he really didn't want to answer them, he wouldn't. He narrowed his eyes and looked to her face directly, speaking out clearly, "I accept your deal."

Everything had been diced and put into small bowls. Prep work complete, Pat went over to turn on the stove when a familiar ringtone got her attention. The calls were getting more frequent lately with her having so much time off. Despite there being little work to do, that didn't stop her partner calling her over every small potential "crime;" from missing cats to strange graffiti, it seemed Nat was getting desperate and Pat didn't understand why. It was suspicious that everything was so quiet very suddenly, however, there wasn't anything the two hunters could do about it. If demons wanted to stay underground, then underground they'd stay.
"Listen, I have dinner almost ready, so lets just deal with you're demon suspicions late-" Pat picked up the call recognizing the number immediately, only to stop when she heard muffled voices. It seemed this was a little more than the past suspicions Nat had called about in the past. Switching the stove back off, Pat grabbed her belt and a small gun, only stopping to stash it away. The conversation turned to a deal and Pat cursed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as the words left the demon's mouth, dread ran through Nat's body. It was done. And almost as fast as the dread came, a stillness, a sense of calm. She took a deep breath, reminding herself of her goal. She couldn't just bring out the big questions yet, in case they got agitated. She'd start small, buy the time she needed for Pat to get here. She adjusted her hand in her pocket, making sure the mic wasn't covered.
"Alright, what are you doing here?" She gestured around with her free hand. "The surface? Why come up here?"
